Our Ghiacciola is a 100% monocultivar extra virgin olive oil, obtained exclusively from Ghiacciola olives, a cultivar typical of Emilia-Romagna and one of the most prized in the region.
Its organoleptic profile is recognisable and distinctive: an elegant fruitiness, with clear herbaceous hints, notes of fresh almond, artichoke and a balanced spicy touch. It is harmonious on the palate, with a distinct but never overpowering bitterness and spiciness, a sign of a high concentration of polyphenols.
